When an artist paints a flower, she borrows the beauty from nature and adds fragrance from her own heart. — Debasish Mridha

a letter from the artist…
Dear Friend,
You might be wondering why I would give my art away for free…
It’s pretty simple. I know life can get tough sometimes. And that art has a way of speaking to our souls, of providing solace. My hope is that my art will bring you comfort in difficult times, and bring a smile to your face.
The pieces in my “gratitude” collection are created out of my thankfulness for the beauty that this world has to offer. In the Pacific Northwest, where I live, winter is gray, dreary, and rainy. These vibrant flowers remind us that spring is right around the corner. Hope is always right around the corner!
I would love for you to frame your gift and put it on a wall or table, where it will serve as a constant reminder to take time to smell the flowers, to give thanks for the little things in your life that give you joy. Even, or especially, when the going gets rough.
I guarantee you’ll love what you receive, or I’ll refund your shipping & handling, and you can keep the print. So this truly is a risk-free, no strings attached offer, just a heartfelt piece of art from me to you.
I sell my 5”x5” prints for $25 at my art shows, but for a limited time I’m offering them absolutely free. Just choose your favorite print below (limit one per person) and pay $5.00 for shipping and handling to ensure your art arrives safely. You will receive your gift in 14 days or less. You will also receive my entire collection of art phone wallpapers and a 15% discount off your first purchase of original art.
Quantities are limited, so this page and offer will be taken down the moment the last one has gone.
Thank you for taking the time to read my message. I'm so excited for you to receive your gift of art that smiles!

TJ's art overflows with feeling. It's not just the colors and shapes, but what they say to the viewer, imparting calmness, jubilation, excitement, peacefulness, and warmth. Thank you for your art, which somehow represents both memories and hopes! I feel inspired whenever I see it.

I have three pieces from TJ in my home and have given her art as gifts on many occasions. She is extremely talented, easy to work with, and has a wide range colors and styles to choose from. Her work brings me joy. I will definitely be purchasing from TJ again!

I am honored to own and display several original pieces of art from TJ. I don’t think there is a single color visible to the human eye that TJ hasn’t adopted to beautiful ends!
the “gratitude” collection
The older I get, the more I appreciate the simple things in life… a walk in the woods, collecting seashells on the beach, the changing of the seasons.
I created this series out of a spirit of gratitude. Even when things are hard, there is so much for which to be thankful.
For me, flowers signify new life, strength, resilience. My wish is to share a bit of that spirit with you through my art, to offer a reminder to take time to stop and take in the beauty, appreciate the little things, and connect to the world around you. Take time to breathe deeply.
Whether you’re looking for something to inspire you, or just want to add a splash of color to your home or workplace, these art prints are sure to make you smile.
“TJ exhibits a restless imagination that lifts her artwork from ordinary to extraordinary. Her use of texture and shadow draws your eye into each piece with unique details that keep her work a feast for your senses. The huge variation of designs and subjects speaks to her breadth and depth as an artist. I like the anticipation and delight that I get seeing what her soul, hands and eyes create next!”

about the artist
TJ is an artist who lives near Seattle, Washington. She spends as much time as possible on Herron Island off Key Peninsula in the Puget Sound, finding inspiration in the wind and waves.
As a child, TJ learned to paint with her mother as her teacher. When her own children grew up and left the nest, art went from a hobby to a passion.
TJ teaches Software Development at a local college, and also works as a freelance software developer. Art has provided a way for TJ to get out of her analytical self and allow passion and emotion to take over.
She loves abstract art because it is unpredictable, and she enjoys watching the magic unfold. Abstract art is particularly interesting because it allows for interpretation, and is open to the viewer's own experiences and emotions.
In her free time, TJ enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.
The interactions between people, and between people and nature, are what inspires TJ’s work.
